Epiphany on epiphany...

Wow, today has been a day to remember! First off happy epiphany!!!! I have had a super long one, it seems, humph half of it in the middle of the night in order to advert responsibility, I blame tossing Tasha, but we are probably equal culprits… I finally gave up and made a cup of sleepy time tea and surfed the web for graham cracker recipes:).

So enough with the mind-numbing details I will get to the good stuff!
I changed my return ticket!
I squeezed myself into a swim suit and swam a 3200 (for those of you non-swimmers that's over 2 miles, actually quite pathetic!)
Swam in a lane next to one of the most influential priests of my youth, random!
Decided on my future!

Oh, so now for the first time not enough details… I haven’t even said what I had for lunch :) (dahl bot – a traditional Nepali meal).

Now for the real details: return on the 21st. I still love swimming, oh yeah I still got it! And, I realized that it is not some major moral issue to go lap swimming, even if you have to leave your scapular on deck – um and then lose it and have it returned to you, by a priest, after the most spastic conversation, hey it's me - what can you expect!

And now I know to some of you this may seem very random and then to others of you a kind of duh! Right on! But, through much prayer and discernment I feel like I may be realizing where, when and how I can use my life to serve!

Where – C.C. Through numerous forms of affirmation I realize I really love my family and community, and would like to be close to help my parents (eventually, although now I am more of a frustration and annoyance – I have potential, I do!).
When – not to long from now.
How - as a firefighter (depending upon rigorous selection), in addition to working as a CCD teacher and an intercity "mission" church, as well as setting up a young adult group at my parish, and several other community involvement activities.

So that is it! I have my goals, now just a few, gulp, intermediately steps:), so PRAY FOR ME - Tasha too as she prepares to return to a country w/o a Katie contaminate for a few days!

Love and prayers to all!
