R&R in Corpus, humph!
I feel like there should be so much to write, at least to keep all updated – prevent the future explosion - but the life of a happy homebody may not be too exciting to you movers and groovers….
I have been enjoying my parents to the fullest. Yesterday was filled with making lunch- pressed sandwiches, running to the athletic club and GOING TO THE MOVIES:) . I guess I should warn y'all to check my blog with care in the future – we saw (mom and Tasha and I) The Chronicles of Narnia, so depending on parental persuasion a picture of me as a lion, witch or some other creature may appear soon:).
Totally kidding but I do have to pass a bit of blame for the Geisha photo. I was just trying to quietly do an avocado/oatmeal facial and watch the Penn State/FSU game with my Dad when my mom broke out the red lipstick and Tasha was pinning me down and poking a fan and umbrella in my hands and taking pictures. Something like that:). Or... maybe I am just a youngest child and can't stop being goofy late at night especially when it makes me the center of attention….humph!
As if that late night stunt wasn’t enough, Tasha pulled me out of bed at 2 in the morning… somehow she convinced me I couldn’t sleep and then dragged me by my hair and finger nails (Ouch!) into the kitchen to open a bottle of Merlot and mess around on the computer until five in the morning… (Best to just take my word that that's how it happened:)) - My poor mom was bummed. First, she wasn’t invited to the "party" (as she likes to refer to the incident) and then we were both pretty useless during the day. My major accomplishments were baking yummy red snapper, vacuuming, going to mass and writing this blog:).
Okay watching UT win the Rose Bowl is a bit difficult through the reflection in the computer screen….
Love and prayers,
K.
